Anberlin – There Is a Light That Never Goes Out (The Smiths cover) Lyrics 18 years ago
The first time I heard this song, I swore it was the Alkaline Trio. Especially the voice on the part about double decker busses. The lyrics are sort of something that Alkaline Trio would do, with the getting hit by the bus, except it's too happy and full of love.

Actually, they don't sell out shows anymore because they broke up.

Either way, this song still kicks ass.

The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus – Atrophy Lyrics 18 years ago
To heckyeahitsanna: I have a similar interpretation to this song as alhora in that I think this song is about not letting society tell you who to be. What I think this line means is that you just need to listen to your heart in who you want to be and that you don't need to fight who society is telling you to be because if you listen to your heart society has no control over you. That's my best guess at least. Anyone else can give me their opinion.

Brand New – Limousine Lyrics 18 years ago
gem9291, please stop putting your incorrect interpretations on this site. I've read several of your replies to Brand New songs and everyone has been about how you think God either doesn't exist or you think God hurts the innocent. I don't understand why if you have these beliefs, you are listening to Brand New. This whole CD is very religious, in how Jesse's relationship with God is, and you are truly ignorant if you don't recognize this. If you actually think that this CD is about God hurting the innocent, then you need to stop listening to this music because it's too complex for you. This CD is clearly about the struggles that Jesse is having with his relationship with God and how God is merciful to him even though he does so many wrong things. And to say that Jesus wouldn't die for our sins if he had to do it again, is just wrong. Jesus loves us so much that he would die an unlimited amount of times for us if he had to. The thing is, though, is that he doesn't have to. That one time on the cross, he took all of our sins upon himself, and we are forgiven if we ask for it no matter what we do and no matter how many times we do it. The struggle is how God does this even though we don't deserve. That's what grace and mercy are though. They're given to us even when we don't deserve them. Alright, I'm done. Please gem9121, please keep your incorrect interpretations yourself because you're only doing them to be difficult.
