i think this is the Amy from Amy In the White Coat. every name mentioned in any of his songs seems to be significant and reoccuring (Amy, Arienette, Michael, Laura..and so on) the fact that he really dislikes the father of the baby seems significant. ive never met conor, but he seems to be friendly and not dislike much of anyone. perhaps the reason he's got it out for the father s because he knows how he treats Amy (his daughter) and how the whoel thing is incest and really messed up. |

this is a lot better than the original (daniel johnston) version. his voice is so annoying it makes the song hard to listen to. but of course conor makes it sound 500x better. im not too sure what the meaning is though. daniel was bipolar and often wrote about his hallucinations and stuff like that. maybe he just thought of everyone in that town as a vampire, there to suck the life out of him and everything else. |
