Bongarus.....you took the exact words out of my mouth... except minks were/are hunted in europe, and nearly extinct, so maybe thats about the harm people are doing to the earth, hence the songs title. also i think this is a referance to Noahs arc. ... ***when brian introduces this song he sometimes says :this is a song about wishing for all the things you never had", i think its a song too about being, 'allergic' to the things close to you. allergic to the drugs that came from mother earth. allergic to people close to you. this is one of my favourite songs...im getting it tattooed on my wrist!!! cant wait |

| i also agree..... but i think the song has a real element of anger about it. i think its about someone sort of hiding their anger...letting it fester, then exploding and going totally off the wall, really venting it at everyone and anyone | |

in response to Pivette ..... i bet the boys would have a good laugh, but i doubt the song means nothing at all... brian was interviewed and he was asked how much effort went in to his lyrics, and he replied 'more than you can imagine'.... this song to me has so many different meanings to me... 'We were tight, but it falls apart as silver turns to blue.'- i think this means him and his lover were close during the night, but in the morning it fell apart.....prehaps when the drugs and alcohol from the night before began to wear off. 'With hindsight, I was more than blind, lost without a clue. Thought I was getting carat gold, and what I got was you. Stuck inside the circumstances, lonely at the top. I've always been an introvert happily bleeding.'- again i think this about falling head over heels in love, prehaps under the influence, and how hes so easily fooled and (obviously) how he didnt analyse the situation of the relationship properly, being more than blind.... it has other things too....but i cant be bothered typing them all at the moment..... does anyone know whatn the numbers mean 4723985, 142978, 14 16 22????? |
