| The Dead Milkmen – Punk Rock Girl Lyrics | 18 years ago |

Ooh, I love this song. It reminds me of going to South Street. Psh. Of course, Zipperhead is no longer Zipperhead. They moved and now they're Crash Bang Boom. Same thing, different name/location. Mmm. Philly Pizza Company. Now whenever I hear California Dreaming I want to get up and scream... |

If I am correct, Diamond Dogs (the album this song is from) was actually for a musical based on the book 1984.. I guess this has a lot to do with Julia? I dunno. Just throwing it out there. |

I'm not sure if this really means anything, but I notice Billy brings up the Thought Police? Little nod to 1984? I think so. |

"Die gar traurige Geschichte mit dem Feuerzeug" is a pretty weird poem... Oh, German Nursery Rhymes. |

| Scarling – Manorexic Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
It could really be about a manorexic (anorexic man) Possibly a little too simplistic of me, but look: "Though I can’t conceal my feelings Like he can’t purge his pain Cause once he sees a mirror logic goes down the drain " Pretty obvious there. But the 'manorexia' could be a simple metaphor for someone losing control and mentally starving themselves. |
