The Moldy Peaches – The Ballad of Helen Keller and Rip Van Winkle Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Oh. Kind of paints the picture of a wedding to me. All nervous her father is to take her down the isle to her future-husband. Hmm. |
The White Stripes – Blue Orchid Lyrics | 17 years ago |
This song could be about me. |
Death from Above 1979 – Black History Month Lyrics | 17 years ago |
I have a literal interpertation of this song and think it is about White Flight. It is about a bunch of parents whom want to move out of this town because they think diversity will bring crimes and other horrible things. I think DFAB is pretty symbolic, though. So, perhaps there is a deeper meaning. I haven't grabbed hold of it yet, though. |
Harry and the Potters – Fluffy Lyrics | 17 years ago |
THIS SONG IS PRETTY DEEP, IMHO. |

Syd Barrett – If It's In You Lyrics | 17 years ago |
;0; This is su sadddd. I kind of think that this is a continuation of Octopus. With the steel rail, something you would find on rides in fair. This carnival imagery is in both songs, and with that I think this song is about people whom dealt Syd his acid. And how he needs to keep a strong relation with these people to keep on getting what he wants. |
Syd Barrett – Late Night Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Hmm, I had a different interpretation of this song. I think it is about Barrett's domint personality and how he misses someone he used to control. "If I mention your name turn around on a chain" I don't think Syd thinks of this is as a bad thing, as a natural thing. A beneficial relationship on both parties, that he is trying to get a girl he once felt that he owned back. It is a paradox, how he feels like he needs a girl who he wants to need him. Hmm. |
