| Regina Spektor – Secret Stash (No One) Lyrics | 19 years ago |

I like the piano music, and everytime she says "No one can take that away." It just seems like a strong statement. |

| Oasis – Champagne Supernova Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| When I hear this song, I think of a funeral setting, where a person went because a bunch of his friends died in drug related accidents and he keeps having flashbacks to an exceptionally fun disfunctional summer shared among teenage friends where they obviously smoked pot, they fell in love, they became broken hearted, they had dreams and were young and naive and it was the greatest time of their life. | |
| Electric Light Orchestra – Mister Kingdom Lyrics | 19 years ago |

It's about a miserable life. I don't have much more to describe it, the words just flow so well, with the instruments, I love it. |

I hate when songs are underappreciated, especially lyrics, and after reading all these comments, I realised how much I took this song for granted. It is beautiful. |

| Interpol – NYC Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
It's about his observations of living in NYC, like what he's seen in the subway stations, and his experiances with love and heartbreak in NYC "I know you've supported me for a long time, but somehow I'm not impressed." "I'm sick of spending these lonley nights training myself not to care." It just makes me think of living in an apartment in NYC. |

| Interpol – Next Exit Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
I think it's about a man taking his girlfriend to leave their constrictive disfundtional town once and for all and it is a suprise and they've had problems but he knows that once their out of the prison they call a home it will be fine, and he hopes to come back one day when everything is alright. That's how I interpreted it cus I can relate. |

| Interpol – Take You on a Cruise Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| I think it's about how he finds someone he loves, but I guess he breaks their heart, so they go on a magnificent ship to kill himself, hoping that when she reaches death they can sail out to sea together, but for now, he can't deal with what he had done to them. | |

| The Strokes – Trying Your Luck Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
I think it's about how he has contradictory feelings for a women, he loves her but he hates her, she's broken his heart and he's done the same to her. "The signals don't seem right It lasts for just one night, and then I'm sorry that I said That we were just good friends" This song breaks me heart. |

| The Strokes – Hard To Explain Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
When I hear a good song, I basically turn it into a movie.. I think it's about a love triangle, where he had a girlfriend, but while he is visiting someone he meets and falls in love with a women who is scared of sexuality and soon he has to leave but cannot make a decision and he pretends everything is alright but in reality he is really confused and frustrated and this song kinda reminds me of the movie Garden State. I love it. |

I like this song, but I like there old stuff much better, Room On Fire is my most favorite album in this universe. This song always makes me feel better about the world and it's imperfections, right now I'm listening to it, and I feel a lot better about everything wrong in my life. |
