personally, i think this song is about a girl that cheated on a guy, and it kills him. he wants absoluley nothign to do with her. "(Evelyn) (I know you lied) I'll tell you that I'm alive for the first time and I'm beggin you to leave here now, beggin you to stay away from me " i think the part where he is talking about being he means that how he feels now that he knows the truth and he doenst have to worry about her. Thats what i believe personally. |

| i totaly agree with dear_xbrooklyn. I totaly think its about two people that like each other, but the girl is taken. I also am going through this. The girl i am in love with is currently goin out with some ass hole 'for fun' when she has told me she loves me. Anywho, back to the song, i believe when they say she'll recitre her excuses, i think thats when he asks her out, or says why they aren't goin out, and she says she taking, or its a bad time. I also think that when he tucks his tail in his legs, thats refering to not asking anyquestions and still being there for her. | |

To me, this song is about a guy, who messed up with his girl-friend/ex, liek cheated on her or somthing, thats not the point though. the point, is that he stil lloves her, and is still willing to do anyhting for her. "You just refuse to bend So I just keep bending ‘till I break" proves that he is willing to do absolutley anthing to make her happy. he truely loves her. When he does get mad or angry with her, "You always find the words to say To keep me right here waiting". I love htis song, I can connect with this song perfectly. |
