| i think everybody's pretty much right on here, and i really like this song as well. it just kind of has a warmth to it.. and obviously, following through with your partner is an important part of a relationship. im always joyful when this song comes on the radio, not that i couldnt just listen to it on the CD.. =]] | |

i read all these entries earlier, went and had dinner and whatnot, came back and registered, and now i have to say.. wow.. i pretty much agree with everybody. i mean, some people say it applies to a long term relationship that happened but was lost, and some say it was one that could [and should] have happened but was lost, but really they're all in the same ballpark. in any case, its a great song, and i think a lot of people could identify to it. i think people especially like "sometimes the hardest thing and the right thing are the same," myself included, because people like when things identify to the harshness/ and or difficulty of the world.. we just like when pain is understood. and that brings us to "we never know whats wrong without the pain." same deal. again, great song! as is every song by the fray =] |
