| Against Me! – Sink, Florida, Sink Lyrics | 18 years ago |

for me, this song is very metaphoric. i think, it's about a relationship, the boy and the girl are still together, but they drifted apart. in the end, they couldn't talk together and between them there was a 'distance the size of the oceans'. the guy who sing this song drift more and more away from his girlfriend, the cadence carrie's him almost far enought to forget his love, but then he remember to it and tries to find a way back to his girl. but he can't, he 'swims in the big oceans, longing to his gf', until he's finished and so they sink and drown in the ocean of their lost love. and the panic of drowning goes under with the realazion, what went wrong with them and that in fact they made everything right to 'fuck it up', to brake their love... |

| Blink-182 – Adam's Song Lyrics | 19 years ago |

when you lose a good friend, you will remember the small, 'unimportant' moments... something like a smile, unimportant thinks this person once told to you, a joke he/her made long time ago or, like in this song, a cup of applejuice this person once spilled in the hall.... i think this is what this line means... it's an unimportant moment you associate with 'adam', which you thought you'd forget it long ago, but when he's dead you'll remember such thinks/moments... (sry about my bad english :/) btw: a really awesome song, one of my all time favorites!!! |
