Okay here is my two cents. Im 20 years old, and back in 2004 I started to use Ecstasy….for the past 4 years I have done it on and off. But there have been times I use to binge for a few days straight. Recently (Xmas morning) I smoke meth with my gf and her friend. I went home after coming down ( anyone who has done X or meth) knows how the come down feels. You feel like an animal, not even close to human. The way you think, the way you act, even the way you look. YOU CANT SLEEP! If you have seen the video it stats with him in bed tossing and turning and that 1st shot of him reminded me of SO MANY CRACKED OUT MORNINGS! Not only that, but the rage he talks about could also be the thing driving his drug addiction. When you get mad people like to drink…or smoke…or smoke shit…or drop E the flavor of the month basically. After hearing the song then seeing the video it really pushed me to think it was about drug addiction, or the mind set of one coming off drugs- that’s the big point. When you come off a meth based drug, you say things like “can somebody help me get though this nightmare.” …you feel like an animal. And you say things like “So what if you can see the darker side of me..” meaning- the way you act on or coming off drugs… And the best one “I cant control my self” A typical trait of an addict. The video has a very dark tone to it. When he is walking in the streets notice its overcast out, very gloomy out side (a very drug hung over day) even look at his eyes as he passes windows, he cant recognize himself- and that people is how you feel on drugs. The mirror will show you the animal you have become…-sorry for the miss spelling and grammer problems.... |

Yea maybe the trust part, if you put DRUGS on all the trust it makes sense, a boyfriend that does drugs...like meth or E can really fuck with your head and you get very paranoid, you think shes out doing bad things.... |

The 1st time i Herd this song it hit home, I used to be addicted to X (wich has meth in it, along with the high, and the side effects.) I really love this song while im blasting down the high way in my mr2. But yea when I hear the song it bring back alot of good (and bad) memories of comming down off Meth and E, if you have ever done any of these drugs this song will be a keeper |
