| ok so i looked up the dakota because, to be honest, i was interested about what that was all about. What makes the most sense to me would be if he was talking about the uss south dakota which, during the time it was used in war, it was seriously damaged numerous times but each time it was able to be repaired. Since Jesse says "this ain't the Dakota" i guess he means that this relationship he's in has been damaged to the point of no return and their "ship" won't survive like the Dakota did. | |

| ok first of all love this song. second, seydurins interpretation has gotta be right. third, does anyone else think that that line that no one knows in the chorus changes each time. cause in the first one it sounds like "i fell asleep in the incline" and then the next time its "i lay asleep in the incline i cant shake this TINY feeling" and then the last one sounds like "i fell asleep in an incline?" anyone else? | |
