dangerousdave has the right idea...by why do i get the feeling something is missing?.....there's more to the lyrics...but not all of it makes since....the song is about sex and drugs....how can you guys not notice? | Actually you're all wrong....The End of All Things to Come is an astrology concept album....hence all the zodiac symbols....This song in particular is the one for Scorpio's....check it out on wikipedia.org if you have doubts....In my opinion it has a drug type reference...."cauterize and force the sword"..as in heating up the syring and injecting whatever..."Learning the secret knock, a nickel to enter that place.."...could be refering to the knock to enter a drug house with a nickel bag of your drug of choice..."children wrestle to seal the bag and storing deep in that place"...the kids don't want to get caught with it so they hide it...."do you remember the bedroom, was it your cell or was it your tomb".....could be about how most people lock themselves in their room for awhile and stay secluded because they're so deep into drugs......I also know that skrying is a type of ritual....so it could be about doing rituals while on drugs.....or he's the dealer watching his junkies....i mean read the lyrics..just my opinion..... | |
