one of my favorite songs ever... i think there are definitely religious undertones but every time i hear this song i can't help but think Chris wrote it about forgiveness... "For lesser offenses, and how I have harmed you And still you allow me to walk free of pain" and "And test me to see if I will rise against the worst that it can get" that's just my personal take |

i definitely agree with ltkenbo, the song seems very biblical in a sense that Chris is thanking God and being persecuted. I absolutely love this song. |
