it seems like this song is about (generally) after being together for a while, she suddenly breaks up with him because he hasn't opened up to her yet. then he goes on wondering if she even wanted the relationship to begin with, being totally shocked by it, then reminiscing. sad. you know, the typical break-up reaction/stages... whatever. that's just me though. i have a weird mind. |

i think this song is about the dude doing a lot for her and her still not being satisfied. like when he says "there's no rest for luxury" means that she's too high maintenace and no matter what he does, it'll never be enough for her. so he breaks up with her so she can find someone that can give her what she wants. that's what i think. |
