| Simon and Garfunkel – The Only Living Boy In New York Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
i listened to this song a lot after my uncle died, and he used to travel a lot because he was a business man. my family always used to say how funny it was because he would always miss his flights, and when he missed them, he would just say, "well, i guess we'll just catch the next one." so this song reminds my of him. not to mention the fact that it's just beautiful. |

| Fall Out Boy – Love Will Tear Us Apart (Joy Division cover) Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
i think it's really rude that some of you people are insulting a band just for trying it out. i don't think patrick stump is trying to ruin ian curtis' voice, he probably just liked the song. and another thing? how rude and idiotic of you, attackoftheheart, to say that fall out boy is loved by "preteens and hot topic shoppers." that is one of the most close-minded things i have ever heard anyone say, and that kind of thing only exemplifies the kind of attitude that you think you're trying to fight. |

| Ben Lee – Close I've Come Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
i think it's about finding someone who is worth changing your life for. however i think it's an uphill battle, and he is at a point where he is just so frustrated that the song isn't really romantic, it's more simplistic and "take it or leave it." |

i like the beginning, telling the story about her family. (i think it's her family) it kind of signifies that she is such a big part of his life and he knows her front and back. anyhow this song is so sad to me. it's like getting the wind knocked out of you, but enjoying it at the same time. |

| Something Corporate – She Paints Me Blue Lyrics | 19 years ago |

"In vain I blame my trembling on the cold air And I can't hide that I've relied on you Like yellow does on blue" definitely one of the best phrases andrew has ever written. i think this one kind of sums up being completely in love with somebody, and not caring about anything else. the line "watch the lights go out in your house" kind of symbolizes doing anything for this girl, including standing outside her house at all hours of the night. |

| Something Corporate – Me And The Moon Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
this song is so beautiful. i think when she says "it's me and the moon," she's saying she's so alone and during the nighttime, there's nobody for her but the moon. i kind of picture her crying at this point, breaking down inside. maybe from guilt of her crime or maybe this is post murder? i don't know. so pretty. |
