Heard this song for the first time recently, and can't get enough of it. "When the truth is. I miss you. Ya the truth is. That I miss you so." My favorite lyrics by far. So simple, so sweet. I think the song is about someone afraid to love, and looking for a "warning sign" to protect themselves from hurt. But in the end, they ultimately sabotage the relationship or any chance of one, and regret it. I'm there right now. Looking for warning signs, anything to run from giving myself to someone, for total fear of getting hurt. Ugh. |
