Relient K – Savannah Lyrics 16 years ago
This song fits into my theory that the album is about the death of a loved one. Here, savannah is an image for heaven. After the loneliness and pain of separation (Sahara, another song), they'll finally meet up again in paradise.
"Who would've thought the book that you bought / Would never come off the shelf" suggests a premature death to me. "I searched for all these years and now you're right here" is what he'll feel when he'll finally meet her again.

Relient K – Sahara Lyrics 16 years ago
There are two puns in this song: lion=lying, and pride meaning a group of lions and pride meaning the opposite of humility.
This song is about loneliness and regret. He's separated from the one he loves, recklessly ran away, and is suffering. He realises he's made a mistake, and he's begging his loved one not to let him go, but fight for the relationship even when he himself has given up ("even when I turn my back").
The whole thing (Sahara) is a metaphor that's building up to the two following songs: Oasis and Savannah.

Relient K – Part Of It Lyrics 16 years ago
I'm finding it terribly hard to understand what Part of it is about. Part of what? The break-up? The separation? Does this song confirm my theory that the loved one's about to die from a disease? Maybe the perspective is knowing that this world is temporary, and there's an afterlife.

This song is the outro of Candlelight, IMO.

It's a love song, of sorts. He's describing how amazing she is. At the same time, there are hints that they're not going to be together. He thinks it's "unfair" that everyone else "pales when they compare", that he'll never find someone as wonderful as her, which implies that he's looking for someone else now.

Relient K – I Don't Need a Soul Lyrics 16 years ago
This song makes me think the whole album is not about your traditional break-up, but about separation and death. Here are the give-away lines:
"Departing from the hospital / The news shows on your face too well /Trying not to cough at all, it hurts
All options are exhausted all / The numbered days are numbered small"
The sirens remind the writer that his loved one could have died already. He can't stand the thought of leaving her, so he tries to harden himself to the inevitable tragedy. He doesn't need a soul. He will have to be able to live without her. He will always remember her ("you and life remain beautiful").

Hawk Nelson – Everything You Ever Wanted Lyrics 19 years ago
I thought this song was about Jesus. The author feels his far away from Jesus, despite all their efforts: "I tried to be perfect...". The lines: "To no one, just a picture of Jesus" especially gave this impression. He's disappointed that Jesus didn't come, just His picture.
So, I was kinda surprised considering this artist is supposed to be christian. Thankfully, songmeanings has given me a better interpretation.
