First of all, I think the line is "I bet you made a scene in your million dollar shorts," not "I bet you ever seen my million dollar shirt" I think this line also makes better sense with the song's meaning. I agree that it appears to be about his disillustionment with an artist he once admired. In fact, I remember reading something to this effect in a magazine recently. The line "I bet you made a scene in your million dollar shorts" seemed to me to illustrate that he had come to see the artist he admired as a spoiled diva, another aspect of his disappointment in the artist. |
