so many different interpretations! I LOVE IT! my take is like sum other ppls. i think she is talking to sumone who she's into and feels really connected to. (oh you don't mean nothing at all to me, no you don't mean nothing at all to me, do you got what it takes to set me free?, oh you could mean everything to me) she wants them to be in her life so much more than they are now. she has so much she wants to show them of herself an life in general. (all of what i feel i could show you tonite you tonite. from my hands i could give you something that i made, from my mouth i could sing you another brick that i laid, from my body i could show you a place god knows) an she knos it's mutual with them. but she is not gonna lead them by the hand to that point of saying "yes. i'm into you and i wanna take this a step further. i wanna be a part of your life". they have to take that walk themselves (you either got it or you don't, you either stand or you fall) she wants them to see her, appreciate her an love her FOR HER(u should know the space is holy) an kno without a dobt (do you really wanna go?) that they wanna be a part of her life as much as she wants to be a part of theirs. i'm in that situation myself so i may be jus be biased (i dunno). but the lyrics are sayin that to me. |

| i read the first comment and it hit me to my core. i love this song! and it just says so much about a relationship i was in. we were quite comfortable in it and everyone was so sure we would be together forever. everyone used to tell us that our relationship was perfect. but like wherewulf said "just because something is perfect doesnt mean it will last forever"......that is so true to me you have NO IDEA! | |
