| I agree. Even though Underoath is Christian, people shouldn't even lightly twist their songs to mean something religious. I do agree that their lyrics are very abstract and could mean a number of things, but It gets annoying when every song is all of a sudden about God. Some of their songs are blatantly about God like "Some will seek forgivness, others escape". those are the songs that are about God. Other songs only contain light connotation to religious belifs and heavier connotation to situational strife and risiong above your problems. | |

this song was adopted by my friend after going through an abusive relationship in which she lost her virginity and made many horrible decisions all at the bidding of her "Mr. Right". He got mad at her when she talked to me and told her to chose between having friends that are guys and him. Thank God she was smart enough to make him stop. I told her ,and many others told her that her boyfirend was disgusting, mean, and obsessive. She just dismissed it at the time but eventually came back around and said that she should have listened to us and that she regretted ever going out with the jerk. If you move too fast in a relationship, it is doomed to fail. On another note. Did RJA sell out in making the albubm verision of this song, because the demo sounds alot better with the screams in it. Everyone I show it to wants a copy because the remake was all pop-punkish (not saying though that pop-punk is bad). It was even more stupid that in the music vid, the part that was normally screamed all the way though full force ("One day she will tell you that she has had enough") was the most intense part visually and had the lamest singing. It just pissed me off a little bit . . . |
