i simply think this song is about thinking some type of relationship is at its end, at the dregs, bc theyre prblems are elating, but they arent changing a thing & hes scared maybe of the relationship itself or losing that someone. in the end itll prolly just be something forgotten & cannot be redeemed. idk the but i do part. |

obv. the little bit about how rational his brother means something: conor's the one who winds up with the remainders, as in arienette, who stays in his blood regardless of how much jetsabel tries to erase that. i think arienette was just tired of taking care of him & left, not necessarily that he is OLD, just worn. arienette was his only true feeling of comfort & sedative, instead of drugs. then she left like she promised she wouldnt & obv. he is feeling less able to live. its just ticking down the time & he cant be the full man for jetsabel that he should. she is the reason he copes..... |

| to me. they were friends, wanted to try more, realized it wasnt to be, he was immature, not necessarily YOUNGER. and tried to convince himself that hes gotten the last laugh. it was nothing more than pleasure, and realizes she was what he wanted. he confused sex with love and realized he was USED and that killed him so now hes out to spite the world, all for this girl. he wants to interpret his feelings for her as lust and nothing more, but it is deeper. if he holds on anylonger than anyones needed they could only weigh him down and hell be too tied to them. it cant work. > | |

this song means so much; but to me i feel as if it means alot from different views. first off: i feel the one who stole my boyfriend is the one who is a monster without affection; bc she is to him. then i feel as if the part where i spent a year quietly dying could also be for her OR me, bc all in all hes let go of everyone in a way. OR i could see HIM as the one being ignored. idk if this makes sense? maybe i just pick songs apart too much. this song is, as all BEAUTIFUL. i cannot stand when people over look conors music because of the whine in his voice, the 'whine' adds depth to his words of course.. eh.
