I totally agree with both "x_chronicxinability" and "yolanda", I believe this song is about waiting for something you want so bad. Whether it be for an event your waiting for to happen (like my 18th so I can go and see these guys live! lol) or for someone to realise or do something. It seems as though all he can do is wait because he has done all he can do and towards the end of the song he is pleading to someone else, I've gotten this from... "Hey wait this time it's not too late To stop this ship from sinking Don't go so much you didn't know It's never what you're thinking" But from the lyrics I think what he was waiting for finally happened... "I've waited for something Waited for someone to arrive I've waited for something Waited for this day to arrive" The song doesn't really describe exactly what that he wants, but I spose that is for us to intemperate ourselves. |

Here he states that it’s almost like she has shot him in the head. That she is William Tell and the Apple on his son’s head which he shoots off has been put in his eye. "The smile on your face, It's on your plate... It's on a silver plate" -She doesn’t realize what she’s done and he wants her to know how he feels now. He wants to tell her not to take her own life and to continue on and forget about everything, but there is no way that he can talk to her. Now he is just repeating that she will never know exact how he felt for her. This is an awesome song, My favorite by far, as I feel it tells a story that is part of my life as well. I totally agree it should explode at the end also. |
