this song helps me so much when i'm feeling down. It tells me that we all have our ups, we all have our downs, and to quit labeling emotions cuz that just feeds them. "just an illusion caused by the world spinning round"... Spinning is totally the right word. things move so fast sometimes, a million things are causing stress, its impossible to deal with them all at once, but they need to be dealt with ASAP. I need to realize that i have to ignore time, get done what I can, and quit spinning with the world cuz that also makes it worse. One day we're all gonna die, untill then we shouldnt act like we're dead. |

When I first heard it I felt like it was about relationships. It seemed like it was where I stood in relationships, I was ready to put my heart somewhere more safe, I was tired of pain and was just going to wait instead of looking. But the more that I listen to it the more I see it like making paper dolls and if only one could cut out the ideal relationship partner. So, at first I thought I was him, and now I realize that I have to save my scissors, but not for someone else. |

This song is sooooo beautiful. I can understand the feel of it, but I'm still working on what it means. It's like when you wake up from a bizzare dream and its a quiet morning and the dream haunts the back of your mind for the whole morning. I dont know the friends who went missing, I dont know the significance of saying their names 3 times, but I understand where he's comming from: waking up from these dreams and standing in the shower can help you understand things that have been on your mind. i dont want to analyze the song too much, i like not knowing. |

I love this song so very much. I really like the idea of it being about mental illness, but the 1916 referance wins me over to believing its about war. wars are fought by zombies. mindless drones. i wanna scream "What's in your head?" to them too. i dont understand how someone could possibly go to war. it makes no sence to me |
