I think that this song is about the singer's parents and how they were so religious when he was growing up. They forbade him to listen to rock and roll music because they thought it was evil. So I think that it's about their neglect towards him and he is questioning how they can claim to be religious when they don't love their own son. Just read the line "How can you talk to god When you wont talk to me?" I also think that his parents may have been abusive to him as well because of the line "When you'd hit your boys, in that fucked up voice" I think that this may have caused him to grow up questioning religion, which is what this song is about. That's just my thoughts though, anyone else got any ideas? |

| lol, Tollgasm. Yeah I actually thought that it had something to do with the beginnings and ends of songs, but it was just kind of a subconscious thought. One thing is for sure though, when I first bought this cd, I was'nt quite that sure I cared for the music on it. But after fooling around with it for a little bit, I came to like it a LOT more, and now I dig all the songs (instead of just Vicarious and The Pot). TOOL KICKS ASS! | |

OK, so I did like you said. On my iTunes I made a playlist that consisted of nothing but Viginti Tres playing 15 times back to back. Then I played on WMP the tracks off of the 10000 Days in this order: 7,8,1,2,5,6,9,10,3,4, syncronized with Viginti Tres. And I do have to admit, the way that Viginti Tres matched up with my other playlist was a little disturbing at times. But I do not know if I am on to anything or if I am just getting excited. However, that leaves the next set of numbers: 6,7,5,8,4,9,13,1,12,2,11,3,10 I did notice that Lateralus has 13 tracks, but if I need to own that cd as well, then I will need to go out and buy it to continue my investigating. So then I am just left with a couple more numbers that I don't understand. 15,14 (or 14,15) + 33(23) I notice that the Aenima cd has 15 tracks on it as well, with the 14th one being (-) Ions, which also seems to be a piece of the puzzle (after reading the comments on this song). Again, if this is the case, then I will have to buy the Aenima cd as well. As for the +33(23) I have absolutely no clue. Am I at least somewhat correct? :( |

Renegade Ninja Do I need any other Tool cd's to complete this synclist? Because I only own the 10,000 Days cd. I have an IDEA of what to do with the numbers, but am still pretty much in the dark. I'll keep fooling around with it though. |

Might I ask what I am supposed to do with the following numbers? 7812569103411/67584131221911310/15 + 33(23) Sorry for asking but I really don't know what to do with them. This song really is an enigma, and I have been reading all of your guys' posts and it seems like you are really on to something. This song seems really religious to me...what religion is Tool, if any? |
