| I've always seen it as one lives a dark life alone, and finds love and is willing to do anything to protect that love, by taking the blame for her sins, or if something bad happens in the relationship taking the blame so she wont feel bad about it, etc....also to do anything for this person and keep her happy and safe, protect her in a sense even from herself...willing even to die for her...the video for this song is awesome, davey calls jade assumingly telling him of his intention to kill himself, through the video davey is standing on a bridge tossing his silver jewellery into the water, while jade, hunter and adam steal a care and speed to the rescue eventually crashing and blowing up while davey walks away from the crash not jumping off the bridge, this doesnt really go along with my interpretation, so im not really sure, powerful video though | |
