Tiki_12 i agree with yr comment about the break down of this song, its the most amazing. The meaning of this song, is obvious. as everyone else has stated. It is about a woman getting revenge on her spouse, because he is an alcoholic. She relises his actions are not as they seem, and she has done the most wrong. The next morning.. "the worst is over." |

i think this song has a lot to do with people trusting other peoples word, because its like one person telling another a rumor, and after that person finds out there's rumors about them, they distrust people or "build a wall." which gives them a hard surface people may never get through. It also makes a person feel as if, thats the way everyone is, and it explains the line. "you think you've got the whole world figured out." I also think the line "one man cleans after the pony, while the other man rides the pony in." that means, one man cleans up after another mans mistakes, but the other man always carrys on with his mistakes. It also goes with the lines.. "what we think we are today is all we say we'll be tomorrow." which means, what they think i am, is what they will always think. Or, how i am now, is how i will always be. |
