I always thought this song was about two troubled lovers and no one approved of their relationship, so they decide to "get away" by killing themselves together. They don't like whats happening in reality and that's how they plan to escape. Especially when he refers to "theres no tomorrow, just today" and "leave it all behind" like they're leaving behind their lives and troubles. Sounds weird, but that's what I always think when I listen to this song. |
