Well..i think this song is just about a guy truly loving a girl and her family is screwed up up and its like we can runaway or get marrried and its all just likea beautiful love song..thats what it is to me....it makes me a little dissapointed though that it was originally about a girl who got an abortion... always thought this song more poetically structured than that..but its beautiful anyways |

i think its mostly about trying to grow up and get on with your life after having an abusive parent(s) and when she says "i was so young young you should have know" and that part after its like..all their weight was on her and its like the insecurities you have after watching them raise you...but that could just be me |

this song tottaly describes everything ive been through in the last six months...to me(at least) it means um maybe a friend..possibly a someone you were in love with..gone in an instant..and you had all these dreams with tthem and a strong relationship..and i think from her point of view..its three years ago..and she has all these memories and she cant seem them again..
