She is saying she has issues. She is saying she doesnt see why the guy in the song likes her and that she isnt perfect she has faults. Yet this doesnt matter to the guy as this girl just has an effect on him. I think the song goes on to talk about how he doesnt know why he feels the way he does and when he started to have feelings for her and stuff. He loves her so much or has such obsession with her that he doesnt know if he can imagine life without her in it. The girl is afraid of hurting him more than she has already. She is afraid maybe cuz of how past relationships have gone and the mistakes she has made in the past will ruin her relationship with this guy. So she wants him out of her life so she cant hurt him anymore. She wants the guy to move on and find another. He isnt sure he can find someone just like her. The one he loves so much or has such an obssession for, But he hopes if he finds someone like her that the relationship with this future girl will be better and lasting. She thinks the guy has lost it and he is saying maybe i have. Maybe this is his problem with all his relationships. They all go the same way and end the same way pretty much and he is stuck in a bad pattern/rut. Overall this song is about a relationship between a guy and a girl that had problems since the beginning. This song is about an end of a relationship and one scared to move on and sad to let somoene go who he loves so much. Fearing they will never find another like them. I dunno just my view pt. I could be totally wrong. I just know I love this song, the album so there we were that the song is on and the band. |
