I take this song very personally, therefore my interpretation of lyrics might be much different from what he wanted to say... Guy wants to leave his girl, but for some reason, he can't do it. Maybe she makes scenes or something, maybe she's literally crazy about him, but still he is not sure whether he believes her or not... "Why you act crazy/Not an act maybe" She has tears, he has callous heart... Nah...just blabbing, but this is what the song reminds ME on... |

Well, I wouldn't agree totally with mrsfrusciante, but then again most John's lyrics can be interpreted and understood on million ways. Anyway, this is certainly one of my all-time favourite songs. I believe that it speaks about love and art. Or love for art. Or whatever you want it to... ;) |
