Bon Jovi – Superman Tonight Lyrics 15 years ago
I agree with you, kait. The interview made him pause. I think he exactly has someone in mind but feels it might be inappropriate to say who. (Thinking back -- there was another interview in which he mentioned a name of a very young singer/performer/dancer who has been through a lot of drama. He had said someone should get her out of "that town" (being Hollywood) and help her.) I think it might be something similar to that. But this is speculation on my part. :) To sillyntcrzy, I think if it were about his daughter, he would just say that without hesitation.

Bon Jovi – Hey God Lyrics 19 years ago
This song and "Something to Believe In" should be like twins. It's fitting that they're on the same album/cd. The song is about questioning why things must sometimes be so seemingly unfair in the world. It's true that there are always terrible things happening to people.

I like that the lyrics are telling God "I got something to say!" and that it brings up the idea of questioning things. I would, if given the opportunity, have a few questions to ask, too!!

Bon Jovi – Dry County Lyrics 19 years ago
Dry County was written after (or maybe even during) a cross-country motorcycle trip made by Jon Bon Jovi. To me, the song is about making decisions to try to find a better life, a better job, a better "whatever" it is a person searches for. The idea being you have to make the best of what your situation is; LIVE life, rather than letting life just "happen" to you! As bonjovina said, many of their songs have a similar theme. They have a message and it is LIVE IT! (See "It's my life" where they sing "luck ain't even luck you got to make your own breaks."

Bon Jovi – Let's Make It Baby Lyrics 19 years ago
This version of the song is on a bonus CD sold in Europe. There is another (alternate) version out there with slightly varied lyrics and use of the talkbox.

Far as what the song means---I think it speaks for itself. It's pretty sensual/sexual in nature. (Not that there's anything wrong with that!) :-)

Bon Jovi – The Radio Saved My Life Tonight Lyrics 19 years ago
I have a mental image of a man out driving by himself just to get some alone time and to think. He's there looking for something, but he's not sure what. His family does not even know he's out of the house--they're all asleep. The song that was played on the radio took him to a time when he found joy and reminded him that life can be meaningful and fun at the same time. He feels lonely at that moment, but the memories help him see that loneliness need not be forever. This is just my interpretation of course :)
