This song has been so special to me for a long long time. When this cd came out was the same time someone I loved more than anything was dying from pancreatic cancer. For years I couldn't listen to this without fucking bawling. I've never done anything in my life as watching her die, slowly and painfully, for the better part of a year before she lost the will to go on. That was 7 years ago last December. Fucking crazy. This song holds such a special place in my heart and my life. |

Such a great song. I think the meaning of growing apart is pretty obvious. Likely also as shes changed into who she is shes shes been distanced from her old self and also the people who didn't handle the transition very well. All things made to be destroyed, all moments meant to pass. Can't wait to see Laura on this winter tour. |
