its weird because the song has more lyrics,but they arent in the lyric sheet that came with the cd either.
she says two more lines in the song right after the
"is this the end of everything"
it sounds something like
"i am so young,i hate well times" or "i hate will (something?)".
i dont know.
i agree with it being aboutsex,and a girl feeling terrible,maybe suicidal,i always thought she was thinking about jumping out of a window in the first part,but it could be totally different,like looking out the window gives her hope,or a chance to escape from the past,except its too high,so she feels trapped. |

wow creole that was awesome,i read your explanation a year or so ago on here before i had an account,i was unsure a few times about it being a story of two brothers,people had said it before but never explained why they thought that,but your post totally set me straight,thats awesome and thanks for explaning all that.i dont have anything else to say,david bazan is obviously one of the best (if not the best) song writer ever. |

awesome song,i had it for a long time and never listened to it because the intro was so long i figured it was going to be an instrumental,then one night i was laying in bed listening to it and i heard the lyrics and it hit.this song is perfection,nothing needs to be added,its perfection and nothing less.once i started listening to Pedro the Lion i never thought i would find anything else that i could relate to so well,but the Appleseed cast proved me wrong by writing songs like this.i remember laying in the sand one day as the water came up and just floating back and forth with the tide and thinking of this song running my fingers across the sand,just thinking about things. |

i seriously love this song,this was the first appleseed cast song i got into,i heard fight song on a bmx vidoe,and i thought it was cool,i fell in love with the drumming on that song,so i searched for the band,and i ended up finding this song,so i downloaded it,and when i did,i listened to it for months,"hello dearest love" became one of my favorite songs and it was the song that got me into the band.the song itself reminds me of looking forward to something,i listened to this song for a long time,i remember listening to this song during the months leading up to my trip to go back to my hometown during the summer and how it reminded me of getting to see my best friend,and seeing a girl i knew from back before i moved.the song sometimes makes me sad now when i listen to it.still its my favorite song by the appleseed cast,along with A Dream For Us |

easily my favorite from jummy eat world,its really cool how this song can be in interpreted so many different ways,i guess everyone finds a special meaning in it in one way or another.this song reminds me of different things,and the true meaning of the song could be anything you want it to be.i think one thing that makes this song so good is the fact that it isnt too specific,it leaves you plenty of room to make it into what you want it to be,like,so you can relate to it in your own way.a parable in a way.this song is amazing.i dont have anything to add,its just good and thats all i can say |
