Fairly certain the correct line is: I'm your brother's sworn enemy, but he shouts out, "My love," to the stars Rather than: I'm your brother's sworn enemy, But I’ll shout out my love to the stars However, the only thing that confuses me is whether or not the brother is actually saying "My love" or he is telling everyone of the narrator's love for said brother's sister. Anyone else? |

As different as this song is from past Rilo Kiley stuff, I'm really enjoying it. lk85, you're exactly right in that porn is simplistic. "Get in, do your job, get out (literally)." People take bands like Rilo Kiley and compare them to previous albums like they're anticipating a duplicate album. The idea behind "indie bands" is that they evolve and are constantly changing their sound. That's what keeps them interesting. So feel free to compare but really, let bands do their thing: you love them because of that whole "indie" sound, and as long as they keep that quality about them, what have you got to complain about? |
