| I agree with the previous two..this song deserves more comments. Not just this song but the performance of this song at Woodstock was legendary. Easily one of the best performances of Woodstock and it came at the beginning of the festival. The song combines Freedom with Motherless Child and was Richie's conclusion of over three hours of jammin on stage. If you haven't seen the footage of this performance, check it out on YouTube. Sadly enough, Richie could perform this song today and it's meaning would resonate appropriately. FREEDOM!! | |
