Aren't babylons slang for a woman's breasts? And he's counting them in his head one by one, savouring the thought of her perfect chest; so much so that he feels obligated to honour each boob as a single entity. Hence the line, "babylon, babylon". The line, "let go your heart, let go your head" indicates that even if she lost these two body parts, he would still fancy her because of her beautiful "babylon", and her other "babylon".
The last line is a bit disturbing though, talk about a cliffhanger... |
