Rage Against the Machine – Roll Right Lyrics 19 years ago
I believe, like many other are saying, is about how the government controls it's people. I think the " Roll Right, Roll Call" is like a master (government) ordering its people (dogs) I believe "Here come the hands on the leashes
The cross, the capital, tha pale families" basically means we're run by the church, the government, and the rich white people.

Gorillaz – Dirty Harry Lyrics 19 years ago
"bullit6783: Do you agree that this song is about an American soldier in Iraq? If so, why would he be carrying an AK-47? It's a gun invented by a Russian during WWII that has indeed been the "assault rifle" of choice in every war since it was created, but it's almost always carried by America's ENEMIES, not America's soldiers. To my knowledge, American soldiers are still using M16's, just as they have since the M16 was invented (also during WWII, I believe). I haven't a clue why, as the AK is clearly a better choice than the M16--much more reliable; it virtually never jams, and hardly needs any maintenance at all. Besides that, they shoot a larger bullet. More stopping power in the 7.62x39mm cartridge of an AK than the .223 caliber cartridge of an M16.

But aside from that detail, y'all are spot on--the song is an extended way of saying "GEORGE W. BUSH IS THE MF DEVIL!"

The AK-47 was made in 1947 (hense the 47, stands for automative kalishnakov (sry for butchering of the russion laguage) I think what he has the ak as a souvaneir. The AK-47 was extremely popular with American soldiers during Vietnam because it was much more reliable than the M-16 (at the time) The early M-16's that were used in Vietnam were very un-reliable and could jam if dropped in a puddle. The M-16 was standard issue but many American soldiers used AK-47's. Another fact that's just a little off is that the M-16 was invented in 1948.

Gorillaz – 911 Lyrics 19 years ago
This is just a generally anti-war song and a very good one considering I don't really like rap.
