This is a very sad song about life that just does not work out and death seems a good option, at least that’s what I think it means. It is sung though out the song that you won’t feel a thing in calm almost calculated voice that makes it seem alright just to let go of everything in this life but by the end it sounds pretty violent. Maybe it means letting go of all the pain or finding out that “strangulation” was not as painless as the songs makes it appear to be. Either way I think it is a great song, although not easy to listen to at times. |

just like it was said before this song is beauty, everything about it is perfect for me to see it as one of the most touching songs i ever heard. singing along to it sometimes make my eyes water and forget about all other pain and problems. other songs are touching like this one from mmj to me, for example, where to begin, i will sing you songs, death is the easy way, the way that he sings, dondante, bermuda highway, steam engine, i will be there when you die, phone went west, come closer, how do you know, one in the same. thats just a fantastic set of beautiful songs to come from just one band. keep playing mmj, you have something special going on. |
