| Nonpoint – Orgullo Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| I assume it means "I will die," basically saying "With pride I will die." | |
| Metallica – Turn the Page (Bob Seger cover) Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Mr. No One, how in the fuck is this Thrash Metal? It's Hard Rock. Despite being called Metallica, this song is Hard Rock, much like their Load and Reload albums. And, yeah, in my opinion, they did capture that feel. |

| Megadeth – In My Darkest Hour Lyrics | 19 years ago |
It's not that he was an asshole due to talent, it was because those with talent (Dimebag and Slayer's guitarist) were offered to join Megadeth but turned down to offer, so then he just says they stole some riffs off them. Many interviews do note that he says this. As far as his voice goes... I find it very, very awkward and awfully high for a Rocker. It's a bit whiny too, Hetfield's is kinda whiny but not as much as Mustaine. Mustaine/Lead guitarist weren't as good together as Hetfield/Hammett were/are, and Dave just dislikes Kirk because he stole his place in Metallica. Now, one final point, Mustaine and his lead guitarists (I could name names, but there's a long list) were lower on a list where Hetfield and Hammett were #10; IIRC, he was in the 20s somewhere... And they were somewhere in the middle as far as greatest hard rock bands went, where Metallica were #5. Metallica vs Megadeth. Mustaine got a better studio for his earlier stuff, so the production may have been quite a bit better... Each to their own I guess. |

| Hoobastank – From the Heart Lyrics | 19 years ago |
This is one of the best Hoobastank songs out there. And my God, not a reply in two years? Jesus. Basically, people didn't approve of an idea, and then it got to their heads. They lost the idea, but later realized "Fuck 'em," then they'd rebuild them from the start and from the heart. Possibly a relationship, and trying to mend one no one believed in. |
| Hoobastank – Crawling In The Dark Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| I'd say it's about someone who's been lied to his entire life (I've been crawling in the dark, looking for the answers) or there have been secrets kept from him throughout his whole life, or he just doesn't understand something... Don't exactly know. | |
| Hoobastank – More Than a Memory Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| He dumped a girl, then realizes how lonely he is without her. He wants her back, and doesn't want her to look at the past and he hopes she accepts her, despite dumping her... Sad song and very beautiful. Rock on, Hoobastank. | |
| Megadeth – In My Darkest Hour Lyrics | 19 years ago |
I'd say it's because it's metal :/ People probably don't like Nu-Metal because it combines Metal with hip-hop. Great way to make money and a great combination as well - people are just really intolerant of them because, despite being a subgenre of Heavy Metal, it's almost a completely different Genre in itself. |
| Foo Fighters – Everlong Lyrics | 19 years ago |
The best I can make of it... An addiction; possibly returning to one. "Breathe out so I can breath you in" "Hello, I've waited here for you, everlong" His times in Nirvana with Kurt Cobain Or just a love song with reference to sex. |

| Limp Bizkit – Sanitarium (Metallica cover) Lyrics | 19 years ago |
I like this cover, even though it was lacking something, just keep in mind how they had a fucking hour, with commercial breaks, leaving about 40 minutes. Metallica took up at least 15, so there we have 25. Five to get into the show, so 20 minutes. Five artists averages about 4 minutes per artist, so there we have it, about 4 minutes to do stuff. They had about five, though, but even so it was better than most of the covers there. Not only that, but it's fucking Nu-Metal. What the fuck do you expect from these guys? They only have one guitarist to do all this stuff and the turntables aren't enough. |
| Limp Bizkit – Hot Dog Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Huh, there's only 45 fucks... | |
| Trapt – Repeat Offender Lyrics | 19 years ago |
What is this song supposed to mean... I'm guessing drug use myself, though. Mainly due to this - Someone take these handcuffs off my wrists and break the chain of habit! And the chorus, I didn't take time to get used to. It caught on instantly; song's brilliant though. |
| KoЯn – Break Some Off Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Took the liberty of submitting correct lyrics. About a breakup, then he vows revenge to her or something :/ |
| KoЯn – Alone I Break Lyrics | 19 years ago |
The songs make you feel better because you know others share your pain; that you're not alone. And he says "Leaving doesn't seem so strange". |
| Fuel – Falls on Me Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| I feel this sometimes... All of my friend's weights, dreams, emotions, all of that just falls on me. It's an awesome song too, beautiful. Brett's voice is amazing in this. | |
| Metallica – Whiskey in the Jar (Thin Lizzy cover) Lyrics | 19 years ago |
James voice recordings early on were shit. The voice recordings from songs like this were good. If the recordings were better back in the 80s, then Metallica would be better than they already are; if anything, only slightly. Hetfield's a good singer, though, the early productions didn't bring it out. Ya, Thin Lizzy cover. They covered an Irish folk tune because they're, well, Irish >> I find this better, possibly due to the heavier riffs and I like Metallica better than Lizzy. Mind, Lizzy are the masters of acoustic/electric combination, but I like the power chords better >> They're different styles; they made this song Heavy Metal where Thin Lizzy were Hard Rock. I do agree, Hetfield's voice lacked the emotion Phil Lynnot's had. |
| Megadeth – In My Darkest Hour Lyrics | 19 years ago |
One last thing; I'm fucking sick of Nu Metal not being part of the Metal trend. It's still metal, but with hip-hop influences. With today's world being very rap/hip-hop influenced, the Nu Metal Genre is bound to be popular, no? Nu Metal IS real metal, it's just different. It's just like not including Rage Against The Machine in any kind of Rock category because Zach De La Rocha raps. |
| Iron Maiden – Aces High Lyrics | 19 years ago |
The title of this song is based off a movie named Aces High, which in fact, is about the Battle of Britain in WWII. So, there you go. I'm American too ¬¬ |
| Megadeth – Symphony of Destruction Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Megadeth don't suck. Let's see YOU try better. Um, I love this song. One of the first I've heard. Remains my favorite Megadeth song. |
| Megadeth – In My Darkest Hour Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Mustaine wasn't kicked out of Metallica because Hetfield was jealous. Fuckers, look more into it. Mustaine had a heavy alcohol problem - worse than the rest of the band combined - and abused cocaine. Went crazy too - not about being "too wild" for Metallica, he was just acting like a bastard. Ron McGovney (don't know how good he was, actually) quit Metallica because of Mustaine; Mustaine spilled beer purposely on McGovney's bass, causing him to get electrocuted in concert when he plugged his bass in. Also, Megadeth have had some 20 band changes since 1983; Metallica have only had 4 since Dave's era. Dave Mustaine MUST be a jackass to have that many. Sure, Megadeth have kept to their style for 23 years, and I respect them as musicians. They just can't reach Metallica, because Mustaine isn't willing to risk it all like Hetfield did and Hammett is a better guitarist than Mustaine will ever be. James has different vocals for different moods; Mustaine only had, like, two. I can respect both of them, love both of them (Deth aren't in my Top 10, though. Metallica are my all-time favorites), but Metallica are better. Not only that, but at least Hetfield wasn't badmouthed by MANY, MANY lead guitarists of bands because Mustaine badmouthed them; why? They had a lot of talent and didn't join Megadeth. Pantera and Slayer's guitarists are who I'm talking about. End of rant. |
| KoЯn – Love Song Lyrics | 19 years ago |
...wtf, that got cut off. They're impossible to interpret and may be about Head, their guitarist who left. Mother You're holding my heart screaming Motherfucker They left me broke and bleeding And wasn't it "Off to kill"? |
| KoЯn – All In the Family (feat. Fred Durst) Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| lmfao at this song, it's hilarious. It was only really meant for the Nu Metal creator's frontmen to diss each other. Hi-larious. | |
| Linkin Park – Breaking The Habit Lyrics | 19 years ago |
This was written about Mike's friend, not Chester. This can apply to Chester's drug abuse in the past, though. It's basically about one's struggle to quit a drug addiction, but he ends up dying in the end. |
| Linkin Park – Hit The Floor Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Well, one who betrays you just to come out on top, but they'll eventually "hit the floor" when they're found out about. Or something. | |
| Linkin Park – My December Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| I know this could be about how cold it feels after a breakup or something, but it can also relate to the withdrawal symptoms of an addiction? I mean, if you're addicted to someone, you can't help but feel there's something you missed, which keeps urging you to come back. And, well, they feel cold because they don't have the drug. | |
| ThrowDown – Burn Lyrics | 19 years ago |
And Fuel by Metallica :] Ya, one life to live, and it's yours. No one else's. |
| Three Days Grace – (I Hate) Everything About You Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Possibly someone trying to quit drugs, because they hate it for shitting up their life. It made him "sigh" and "scream" due to hallucinations possibly, and it kept his roommates awake. Plus, he hates it so much, but he's addicted to it - or he "loves" it. Also, you love someone but you hate everything trait about them. Much like the chorus states. Such as family or a girl/boy ¬¬ |

| Tool – Hooker with a Penis Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Lol, I know what this song's about... Someone claiming to be a loyal Tool fan, then saying that Tool "sold-out." Since Hookers sell their body for sex, Tool selling out is like being a Hooker, and since they're all male, essentially, each of them is a Hooker with a Penis. |
| Tool – Ticks and Leeches Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Ticks and Leeches - it's about how people use you as a tool to get whatever greedy shit their heart desires. The first Tool song I've heard, and it's still good. One of my favorite Tool songs too. I hear this isn't played live very much because it strains Maynard's vocals too much. |
| Tool – Vicarious Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| This song makes me laugh hard - because it's funny. "I need to watch things die." Plus, it PERFECTLY presents what the hell people do - rot their brains on the TV and gossiping about it. Goddammit, this song is addicting as well. | |
| KoЯn – Love Song Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| What the fuck is up with these lyrics. They're impossble to interpret | |
| Metallica – Fuel Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Psh, it can apply to drugs. Basically, whatever "fuels" you. This song fuels me, as well as support from friends and, well, stuff that's hilarious. | |
| Three Days Grace – Never Too Late Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Can this not be any more simpler? Someone trying to tell someone not to commit suicide. Even if I say it'll be alright - He's trying to comfort the person Still I hear you say you want to end your life - the friend wants to commit suicide Now and again we try to just stay alive - He wants the friend to stay alive Maybe we'll turn it around 'Cause it's not too late, It's never too late - He feels that he can turn his friend's faith in himself around, and it's not too late to do so. Or something. |
| Three Days Grace – Burn Lyrics | 19 years ago |
All-time favorite Three Days Grace song here. Basically, his "friend" thinks he'll watch him "burn" his reputation, or in hell, because he's showing his true self, and not hiding behind a cold disguise, but the guy says that his "friend" will burn in hell, or "burn" as in, go down in reputation when people find out his true self. |
| Three Days Grace – Riot Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Awesome song, one of my favorite Three Days Grace songs of all time. Anyways, I interpreted this song weird... I think it's a sarcastic way of looking at someone who thinks their life's full of shit, and how they're not the only one's suffering. Like, how people say stuff like "You feel like that too? Let's throw a party!" or some kinda shit, but they apply it to a riot. Or maybe it's trying to tell you not to keep all your emotions bottled up and start a "riot" to unbottle them. Don't think that made much sense, though ¬¬ |
| Three Days Grace – Animal I Have Become Lyrics | 19 years ago |
I read into this a little and learned this was about the lead singer's alcoholism. Which makes sense, because he claimed that the alcohol made him an "animal". Though, I think this can apply to any drug addiction or possibly bottled up emotions. |
