Styx – Come Sail Away Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Styx is gay? lol yeah, that's what I thought when I heard the intro for the first time. The first time I head this song I was depressed, and the music gave me hope. Sometimes all you need to hear is a simple offer to Come Sail Away from all the problems. Think about your life and remember your dreams. Sure, the arena-type rock might not be what's playing on your favorite radio station and it might not make the best seller list this weekend, but let's face it: it's a timeless song. Admitting It has a lot of "gay" qualities, lyrics and such... but everyone I introduce this song to ends up loving it. I agree with Eric Cartman, everytime I hear this song I have to sing along. |
The Cure – Lullaby Lyrics | 17 years ago |
I can't come up wioth any specific meaning for this song... everyone has already said it before me!! The lyrics are so beautiful and powerful, it's like a dream in itself. Arousing all different feelings inside of the listener. After all, music is based on feelings, not meanings! I sleep in the basement, and I'm not easily scared of the dark... but playing this song quietly in the middle of the night still creeps me out. The video is badass too... just... Wow. Awesome stuff. |
Eric Clapton – Change The World Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Really sweet song, I would totally fall for any guy brave enough to sing this to me. |
Ramones – I Wanna Be Sedated Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Dethrye, how do you know it's the best one yet if you haven't heard the rest?! (= A.D.D. That's about all this song says to me. Sometimes I get really out of control, my thoughts run rampant and I can't speak without slurring everything up so mad no one knows what I've said. This song reminds me of that. Great punk band, I love their songs! |
Eric Carmen – Never Gonna Fall In Love Again Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Beautiful song. You haven't really heard it until you've heard it on vinyl. In my top breakup songs, definately. Probably in my top albums of all time... It explains the feelings left after a hard breakup without the added depression of 'All By Myself'. |
The J. Geils Band – Must of Got Lost Lyrics | 17 years ago |
The intro explains it pretty well. Recently purchased a few J Geils Band records and this is the first time I've heard this song. Pretty good song if you ask me! Deserves a few more comments... Definately near the top of my rock break up songs. Theres something soothing about listening to this during a breakup. |
Solomon Burke – Cry to me Lyrics | 17 years ago |
I've loved this song from the minute i heard it on Dirty Dancing! Recently I found Dirty Dancing soundtrack on vinyl, and this track sounds so perfect, scratches and all. One of my all-time favorite songs. Obviously, it's about the rebound guy (or girl) who's always there to cure the loneliness. |
Chamillionaire – Ridin Overseas Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Some of the words might not be right.. I just typed it as I heard it. I've heard that the reason it's called "ridin' overseas" is because they recorded it in europe. |
My Chemical Romance – Cementery Drive (Hidden Message) Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Come on guys... it's backup lyrics. Almost all of MCR's songs have some kind of backup vocals that you usually don't pay attention to if you aren't really listening. This isn't the Beatles "paul is dead", don't try to say it's a conspiracy. |
