halfbloodsister, even though Hellsing could definitely make person think about lust for blood, I have to admit it does sound rather silly to compare the song with vampire indulgence. Your last sentence,however, made more sense, since we do live in non-fictional world, yet we still fight to overcome "worldly" lusts such as love, drugs, sex or whatever...I'd say lyrics refer to it....Cheers!!! |

really depressing...when I listen to the song, I am thinking of some great losses. I'm not talking about losses in relationships(girlfriends,boyfriends). It is something much more substantial, maybe a loss of interest in life or even a loss of the only child. indifferent feeling towards everything that surround us which cannot be changed by a single soul or thing in this world. |

I love lock, stock and two smoking barrels, and I never really thought about this song lyrics wise, I mean, I knew it's a love song, but the first time I heard it in that infamous scene from LSTB it just attracted my attention in some different way. so every time I hear the song I have that sick felling of gambling loss. |
