i think this song is about two people in a relationship, and they're both enjoying it fully, but then the guy starts to have second thoughts and wants to back out. but the girl is keeping him on his feet and saying "you know this is what we both wanted, it's time for us to let go of all we've known." i think she just sort of wants him to trust her ("hey KID, this is far too important for you to understand") and just have faith in the relationship. |
