wow people are just angry over this song. Drugs or a relationship who cares it's a good song. As far as I can tell it's about someone chasing after another person who doesn't feel the same way. "I was spinning free with a little sweet and simple numbing me." In my opinion that means someone is single and enjoying being free. "Your sweetness will not be concerned with me," means I don't feel the same way so you will not be concerned with me. |

I forget if I commented on this song already or not or if anyone else has already said the exact same thing as me already.
Anyway Jesse explained in an interview that this song is about a relationship that is going really well and both people are happy. However, because of something foreseen in the future the relationship is ended prematurely when neither person was ready for it to end. |

Actually the boy who blocked his own shot isn't entirely from a Smiths song I don't believe. Jesse explained once that he tried to be a good basketball player like his siblings but he didnt have the shooting method down very well. He would shoot with the wrong hand and accidentally block it with the other. His dad kept calling him the boy who blocked his own shot. |

Yeah I could see the relation to that accident because Limousine didn't make much sense to me until I read that story. Also, handcuffs is an amazing song despite the fact that Jesse didn't write it. The book says it was written by Vinnie. |
