I definitly dont agree with xMandoForgottenx either. The old stuff doesnt even compare to new. Synister G. and Zacky V. Have improved so much its ridiculous. Also, the screaming wasnt that good. Dont get me wrong I like screamo, I'm a huge Atreyu fan, but it wasnt a very good sounding scream. It sounds like old My Chemical Romance when they tried screaming. |

At first listen, I thoguht this song was emo as hell. After viewing the lyrics and listening agin, noticed it isnt at all. He is having the same complications with women every guy has, wtf do they mean by that? AM i supposed to do this, that? Shes complicated and he just doesnt get it. Obvious, and easy to relate to. |

I'm pretty sure this album whole album tells a story, this is just another chapter. If you listen to the entire album (i have several times) you might notice its about a guy who died or is dieing of cancer. This is what I beleive to be the last thing he said or what he wished he could've said to his own mother. Obviously either he didnt like his mom or she didnt like him, either way it was a sour relationship. Possible reasons? Abandonment works both ways. She either abandoned him or she was mas at him for abandoning her when he went to war. Just a thought.
"And when we go don't blame us"
Also maybe she was against war and he was supporting it, hence the anger at eachother and this particular line:
"She said you ain't no son of mine for what you've done there" |

I think everything about this song/band is amazing. I couldnt help but notice a lot of people bashing them. M. shadows does not have a bad voice, Synister Gates and Zacky Vengeance are the best new guitarist along with Herman Lee of Dragonforce, and of course, The Rev and Johnny Christ are amazing musicians as well. Did I miss anyone, don't think so. Anyways, they do not suck, and this is coming from someone who usually doesnt listen to any music written since the 80's so it saying something if I think they're good! |
