I personally believe that this song has absolutely nothing to do with politics... but that's just my take... I actually agree 100% with Chylde... Have you ever had a panic attack? It's literally one of the most terrifying things you could possibly experience... Because you literally feel out of control...you feel completely vulnerable...and unable to protect yourself... and no one else can do it for you... you get cold sweats...your body shakes anxiously...you literally are stuck in that state until it passes... There is nothing anyone can do or say to make it go away...it has to run its course... "A needle in my eye" is a painful yet realistic way of trying to even begin to understand how it feels to feel so helpless... |

Ok I don't know how the Hell you could think this is about sex... I mean that doesn't even make sense... Now it seems I’m fading All my dreams are not worth saving I’ve done my share of waiting And I’ve still got nowhere else to go That's a pure sign of depression... Whenever I hear this song I always think of a wave... He's got nothing going for him and he knows things wont get better if he continues to live the way he is living now... But he has no where else to go because he has no motivation to reach new heights and new aspirations... So I think he's saying that he wants to go all the way under this time... No more feeling so low but then slowly coming back up, because he knows he'll just fall down again... So this time he wants to go ALL THE WAY... But that's just what I see.... |
