This is one of his more straightforward ones thank god... he's saying fuck purity, fuck the straight and the narrow, I'm gonna sin til I'm dead, as hard as I can, love every minute of it, and if this is where the Devil resides then sign me up. |

This is one of those songs that it's better to just let wash over you than actually think about, but Babe is either his ex-girlfriend, or one of his favored drugs, and he's either telling her (or the drug itself) that...
"of course I'll take more, I always take more, I have to take more, the passage of time is more bearable, come-on, go on this little trip with me!" |

This song, I won't lie, this song messed me up. First commenter is right in that lyrics are simple and only in the beginning of the song. The lyrics themselves remind me of the poem "Footprints." Hello God? Little help through life please? Well that's a lot of what Jason sings about.
As for the rest of the song, it builds and builds and then it EXPLODES. The best way I can describe the music is representing an epiphany or revelation. For me at least words aren't sufficient. |

The way this song starts, with the random music, made me think of the word "musing." It was almost as if Pierce was sitting there, thinking, and following the train of thought that are the lyrics of this song.
He might even have been "remembering" as we do sometimes when we find ourselves reflecting on our lives. Notice the song ends the same way, the music peters out, as the memory seeks to forget |

Sounds like a bit of an existential crisis to me. Do more than just survive? Then again, I think Jason's life in general is an existential crisis. |

This is like a lot of Jason's music... I think he either believes in God or wants to, but has never really heard back from God. It's a love/hate relationship. |
