| I think it's about cheating (the "meet me at the motel" stuff seems to suggest that...), with the "tie my hand to the Bible" acting as a sort of reminder that what they're doing is wrong. (Maybe even adultery in that case? Looking for the thrill of the new with cheating on their spouses? I donno.) Very languid and heavy song, though. | |
