siriosly, i mean, it was written in an era when acid was a popular drugs. the song clearly describes a trip, even the "searching for something to say" i mean, think about it, when you're on a trip, tou have a hard time doing anything; speaking included. |

actually, this song was written 15 years before freddy was found to have aids,, so definately NOT that. we did a unit in language arts where we interpreted this song in class.. we figured tat this is basically about tough times, and temptaions. this is the work of 30 14 year olds working together, so i think that its basically accurate.

definately one of the best songs ever written... sweet is sooooo underated, tho. they deserve to have waaaaay more fame than they got. they were way ahead of their time. definately better than the stones and bealtes, wich were some of the greatest bands ever. i think that we sould try and accept them again. |

this is one of THE most amazingly beautiful songs that i have ever heard, even above wish you were here. this song is about how theres so much crap, hatred, greed, lust, stuff like that in the world. everywhere you look, people are suffering. dieing for causes that they didnt beielive in, but were forced into by whatever has power over them waters is saying that we cant just turn our backs on theses people. we need to be there and help them, not because it will look good, or for propoganda. we need to help them becasue its whats right. i needs to be done. we need to pay attention to those little details of life that soooo vital, but that we take for granted. its about reaching out into the world and doing what you can to make it a better place. |

im absolutely POSITIVE about what this songs about;
this is about a freind that waters loves (in what way, it doesnt really matter) who changes. their entre outlook on life changes. a happy person all of a sudden becomes this morbid thing that doesnt know what to do. waters is saying, please come back to the way you were before youre change. they keep running over the same old problems and arguments about the changes in the freinds' attitude and stuff...
