The bride commence to blistering IDK about this open sore part, maybe this one just just rhymed nicely. Heres what I get from the rest of it though: "This textbook magnificently crude" (refers to first line: book of bitter aspects) Amazing how crude our social/political systems are "Prototype king beserker modulate/Serve the vertical thirst, burst horizontal" person in control of ?war, unsustainable resource use? works for and makes deals for large corporations which are vertically integrated, owning production from raw materials up through sales. (Which in my opinion doesnt have to be a bad thing, but can be used for efficient corruption as well) These corporations are making tons of $, metaphorically fat bursting at the waistline = horizontal Beserkers were Scandanavian warriors, mentally unstoppable. "Treasure, loose cannons span the starboard bow" Rich, powerful. Aiming their weapons (power) "The clippership dipped in truth famine " At the target: truth. We are exhausting resources too fast (clipper is a fast sailboat), back to the agricultural revolution, this speed can cause famine. "Cabin fever meter pegging ludicrous" The people on the attacking boat are insane "Beautiful cartoon trooper/swallow brutal futility with a teaspoon full of sugar" The glorified image of fighting given by the media makes the brutal truth easier to accept or ignore |

| I think the lyrics look good, but not the chorus maybe? Im thinking it sounds like "This is what its like to live 20 years/ See what its like in another 20" The first 2 lines and "nothing more fearful" I think are about how you learn more and realize how little you know, that you've been too trusting. | |
