dillinger factoid: this song, phone home and a couple of other songs were actually going to be released under another band name because they sounded un-dillinger. but then greg ben and chris said fuck that we are dillinger and this is what we do... |

interesting trivia on this song......
the opening lyrics "i smell that whore....bring me back....bring me a brick...." actually came to be because of a miscomunication between dimitri and ben. dimitri originally screamed "i smell that whore....." and mumbled something and ben thought he said bring me back....bring me a brick. ben thought that sounded awesome so the lyric stuck |

ATTN: Monticello.....dont know whether you know it or not but nearly all the songs on Calculating Infinity are about failed/doomed relationships. in regards to the title Calculating Infinity, a lot of narrow minded people seem to think that that title is a reference to math metal or some crap, but in actual fact it is in regards to people saying "ill love you forever" but how long is actually forever how can you calculate that? hence the title Calculating Infinity and all the songs about relationships and people. any one who wishes to dispute that, should check out the latest issue of decibel which has a story on the making of CI and interviews all the line up that dillinger had at the time. it has been voted into decibels hall of fame. really good read and awesome insight into a phenomenal album. |
